News Update

Hi everybody well i am now a year older i have been retired a year. the time has gone so quickly i have done quite a lot in that year. I am now into my third week of the reader course and we are beginning to look at things in earnest now. Proper work starts next week with our first module on Spirituality. We have already had homework which wasn't to bad.I am looking forward to really getting on with it now.

Things could be changing for me today i have to go and view a flat near St Peter's. It is a council flat in the same Close that Allan and Olive live in. This has come as a bit of a shock to me as i have only been on the list a few months. I have been praying that God would find me a place as i know that i cant stay here for very much longer. So please pray for me. I will keep you posted.

Well i am going to bore you a bit more with some more photo's of my time in S/A

As i have already said i am new to this so you have the title of this blog entry already.

New Beginnings well this Thursday i start my first year of the Reader course. I am rather nervous as i am sure a lot of the people i will be studying with will be far more educated than i am and also younger. But i know that God would not put me in a situation that i cant handle.

I am sure there will be times over the next three years when i wonder what i am doing and get stuck but i know that i have lots of people who will be out there to help and support me.

Once again i am having a fresh start at fighting the never ending weight problem. Some of you will already know that i am a member of Slimming World and successfully lost 4st. Some of that has gone back on so once again i am trying to be good and stick to food optimising. This weekend was not good so this week is again a new start. At least the Elephant should be that size! So wish me luck for both the course and the fat fight.
